Those who are members of the Diet Plate online have the option at any time to terminate their memberships and delete their own databases.
We never sell data, we encrypt to current highest standards. We do not hold any financial details on customers, as pages for payment belong
to the banks and once through to payment you have left our site in favour of the payment provider.

GDPR applies to;  Personal data, where a person maybe personally identifiable, directly or indirectly. It also applies to automated and manual filing.
Sensitive Personal Data, such as criminal convictions, financial information, biometrics we do not collect or ask for.

Lawful basis

(a) Consent: the individual has given clear consent for you to process their personal data for a specific purpose.
(b) Contract: the processing is necessary for a contract you have with the individual, or because they have asked you to take specific steps before entering into a contract.
(c) Legitimate Interests: the processing is necessary for your legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a
third party unless there is a good reason to protect the individual?s personal data which overrides those legitimate
interests.

These are the two areas we have chosen as our lawful basis, (a) Consent because we sell products and services
and therefore need names and contact details to ensure smooth transaction and as proof for HMRC of sales transactions.
(b) Contract because those of you who are members of the Diet Plate on-line will submit certain information to provide
you with the full service of the program. NB: This data is within your own control and can be deleted at any time by yourself,
or the company. (c) Legitimate interests, where in future processing client and customer may have invested interest in a
legitimate interest which involves a third party.

Legal Obligation

Processing data for the purposes of (a) and (b) is necessary to fulfil our contractual requirements to deliver the Diet Plate online program
efficiently and maintain accurate electronic records. (c) will become necessary when we enter into a legitimate interest with a third party
